Alice Brady (1898–1914) was a labour activist that was shot and killed during the 1913 Dublin Lock-out. ==Life and career==
Brady was born in 1898 in Dublin, Ireland into a working class family to parents Michael and Elizabeth (nee Flynn). Alice was the eldest of six children, four surviving past infancy. Brady worked for Jacob's factory in Dublin and was a member of the Irish Transport and General Workers' Union (ITGWU). Brady was among the first people to die as a result of the social conflict surrounding the 1913 Lockout. She died at 16 years of age after being shot during a riot associated with the Lock-out.
